I am a highly experienced and qualified Human Resources Executive, with almost 20 years of experience in global and pan-European public and private sector organisations.
Throughout my corporate career, I covered a wide spectrum of HR functions, from general HR administration to Talent and Leadership Development. In the last decade I mostly served in senior leadership roles and as a Head of EMEA HR function, I worked with C-levels, senior and middle management and people across all organisational levels. For business leaders and managers, I ensured that I was a true Strategic Business Partner understanding their business and that I brought HR value given their business needs in order to unleash the best of both – strengths of their people and strategies of their departments. For people at all levels of organisation (including leaders and managers), I was naturally a go to person when they needed personal support to address their issues or mentoring to realise their true potential.
Over the past 20 years I have lived and worked in 8 different countries; multicultural sensitivity and understanding have therefore enriched me as a professional and a person. My experience gives me a unique ability to effectively help both organisations and individuals, seasoned leaders as well as people at the start of their careers, across different cultures.
My HR philosophy has always involved two elements
I believe in the importance of being Human and Leading Humans, my extensive experience of being a Human (Resources) Executive placed me in many situations where understanding and supporting the need to be Human was more important than just being the Executive. I believe that this is a core differentiator for HR professionals to make a positive difference; it is about a meaningful added value HR rather than HR that applies one-size-fits all HR solutions that are oftentimes obsolete and oriented towards managing ‘Resources’ rather than ‘People’.
